Thermavest integrates body temperature regulation into everyday protection for outdoor workers facing extreme heat in the year 02050. Guided by Forum for the Future's Climate and Health Coalition Report on Heat Resilience, this solution is a product-service-system wearable that regulates your core body temperature and connects to wristband, patch sensors, home and neighborhood monitoring systems for protection, recommendations, and alerts.
The vest uses phase change crystallization technology that activates when core body temperature reaches 101°F, helping prevent overheating and reducing the risk of heat-related illness such as heat stroke.

Sleeveless close-fit underlay made of bio-based engineered mesh (cellulosic fiber) for breathability.
Product-Service-System
Together with the vest, the product-service system includes heat and health sensing patches, a data-monitoring wristband, and a cooling system. The wristband and patches work together to track body conditions, report to community health hubs, and deliver health alerts and recommendations. The cooling system resets the vest once its heat capturing capabilities runs out.
