The bag draws inspiration from recognized Mexican artist Gonzalo Lebrija and explores the possibilities of the usual clutch construction.

Brief
Create a clutch construction style bag inspired by an artist or work of art that is featuring at the SCAD Museum of Art. The bag must be made out of leather and should include at least one piece of hardware closure.
What is a clutch construction?
A clutch bag is normally characterized by three to four pieces of fabric making up a bag. The construction consists of the front and back panels as well as the two side panels also known as gussets.

As part of the project I visited the SCAD Museum of Art for inspiration. Out of all the expositions that were taking place I decided to work with the one which I identified most with personally.
