As we approach an age of space exploration and new discoveries it is not long before these impacts resonate back on earth especially in fashion.
The sneakers are inspired by Retrofuturistic art and the depiction of the future in the 20th century.

The Space Race trend
Product design will extend beyond the confines of the Earth's atmosphere. With Virgin Galactic open for business and the first space hotel set to be operational by 2025, a new product sector and apparel genre will emerge. 'Bio-suits' will hail space travel. Projects such as the collaboration between adidas and the International Space Station will see product designed to work with and without gravity. Space travel will also push product innovation on Earth, especially in performance wear, with the extreme conditions and microgravity of space creating a new testing environment.
